Rick Grimes’s character “hasn’t been willing” to disappear from the series The Walking Dead. The latest episode of “What Comes After” is predicted as the last appearance of the character starring Andrew Lincoln after the actor announced he would leave the series last July.
The assumption is that Rick will be turned off by all screenwriters – an affair that is usually carried out by the creator of The Walking Dead when there is an actor published from the zombie apocalypse background.
When “What Comes After” aired on Sunday (11/04/2018), it was revealed that Rick was not killed. He was secured by Jadis (Pollyanna McIntosh) and transported to an unknown place by helicopter.
AMC, as the maker of The Walking Dead, will make three splinter films from the series with Lincoln as the main star. They announced the affair during the “Talking Dead” discussion program which aired soon after the episode “What Comes After” was finished.
“The first film will explore the story after Rick was transported (helicopter) and what he will face in a new location,” read the AMC notice (h / t Vanity Fair, 5/11).
The narrowing is not a strange business. The Walking Dead series just “gave birth” another story titled Fear the Walking Dead.
However, Lincoln’s departure was unique. It seems that no actor / main character is leaving the series to lead a different project that still has a relationship.
